Despite of the fact that i am tropical born and bred, let’s just pretend that i could distinguish summer to any other seasons and dress differently during that time. The fact is, i don’t.But say i could get into the minds of the fellow sub-tropical people, and know what people would want to wear on brighter days. My best bet would be comfortable lightweight clothes, and sandals. Although i’d suggest them to ditch all the summer cliches, and opt for the all-black look instead. I’d also add some on point accessories like watches and sunglasses in the shade of white, as non-verbal cues for “no Ma’am/Sir, i’m not going to a funeral”. Also, one does not simply walk out the door without a structured, practical sling black to carry all their summer necessities. Aaaand, DONE

Hello people!

I know that i’ve been away for a little too long, and i know that it’s not a good thing if i really want this blog to grow bigger. But i’m not making any excuses this time. I just need to remind myself from time to time that maintaining a blog needs commitment, and girl! you better get committed to it! Okay now, i’m not sure if anyone would actually read this, sooo… let’s just get straight to the point!

Inspiration : Dorm Room Make Over

Entering the fourth semester, I’ve been living in my current dorm room for about a year. Six months ago, my roommate moved in, and we’ve been sharing the room ever since.

Our room has everything we need. It’s big enough for the two of us and all of our stuffs. It’s even big enough for our friends who wants to come over and hang out. Not to mention that it’s also very comfortable. We don’t mind spending all day just laying in our beds when crazy hectic days have passed, or simply hiding from cruel Depok sun light.

It’s also so strategically placed. Locating very close to the campus and the main street, it is also surrounded by a lot of food stalls, laundry services, internet rentals, stationary stores, etc. (you name everything a university student might ever need). Oh, did I mention that all of the prices are student friendly too?

This is the ONLY decorated part in my dorm room. A poorly executed wall sticker tree above my desk. Please excuse the ugly clutters. I tried to blurred them out in this photo, but it doesn’t seem enough to hide them. oh well…

Oh, Rainy Days

Look how pretty and graceful hanneli looks under the rain. Well, i have to say that reality isn’t that pretty. It started to rain everyday here in Depok and Bekasi. and it’s not that easy drizzly romantic kind of rain that left your clothes wet just slightly. It’s windy, harsh, and it left you soaked, even when you’re using an umbrella. with lightnings, and thunders too of course, to top it off.
